EPW - Agassiz, Saint-Imier, 42mm, American 18K gold original "AL&Co" HC (maker unknown, several possibilities), 1878 presentation on gold cuvette, SW-LS, WE-SSD, lever escapement, 16J, fausses-côtes NI damascene, s#2367. Gross weight of assembled watch 44.2 dwt (68.7 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, excellent mvt condition overall; dial with small fleck at seconds hole; hands excellent but hour replaced with simple baton; case shows light wear, few MFS, some very light dents or dings, finest detail complete in front but nearly gone in back; bow tight, thinned at apex, crown shows light wear and incipient break; clean plastic crystal.
